Thanks for coming in to visit, and I hope participate in, weblawg.net, brought to you by Costin Media.
I post on a variety of subjects dealing with law, business, media, communications, information technology, virtual worlds, video games, and the humanities.
Incidentally, to take a cue from a friend’s blawg, I should let you know that I am not yet a lawyer. I am an articled student, which is the archaic British term for an apprentice or intern in law. After obtaining one’s law degree, one has to apprentice under the mentorship of an experienced lawyer for a year, which includes a few months in a practical bar admission course.
Before law school, I received a degree in English and also studied (and taught) information technology. What’s on this site constitutes political and academic opinion, but not professional legal advice.
Some of my posts are mini-essays; some of them are just simple discussions or highlights of things that interest me and I think may interest you. All of the posts are, unless otherwise indicated, written by me, and I will always tell you when they are not. I don’t use ghost writers. As well, all of the pictures, unless otherwise noted, are originals taken by me. Copyright and creative commons licensing for all content is described on the Terms of Use page.
That doesn’t mean that everything here is from me. I created the blog for your feedback and to enable discussion.
I invite you to join me in creating one of the premiere technology law blogs in Canada.
