Thanks for coming in to visit, and I hope participate in, weblawg.net.
I post on a variety of subjects dealing with law, business, media, communications, information technology, virtual worlds, video games, and the humanities.
I am a lawyer in British Columbia, and the contents of this blog do not constitute professional or legal opinion. Please do not take anything in this blog as legal advice, as it has not been prepared as such. If you require legal advice, you must work directly with a lawyer who has the opportunity to interview you, evaluate your particular situation, and enter into a retainer or other engagement agreement with you, whether that lawyer is me or someone else. Neither your reading of this blog nor my writing of it creates a solicitor-client relationship. This blog is a discussion environment, and not a professional service of any sort. What’s on this site constitutes political and academic discussion only.
Before law school, I received a degree in English and also studied (and taught) information technology.
Some of my posts are mini-essays; some of them are just simple discussions or highlights of things that interest me and I think may interest you. All of the posts are, unless otherwise indicated, written by me, and I will always tell you when they are not. I don’t use ghost writers. As well, all of the pictures, unless otherwise noted, are originals taken by me. Copyright and creative commons licensing for all content is described on the Terms of Use page.
That doesn’t mean that everything here is from me. I created the blog for your feedback and to enable discussion.
I invite you to join me in creating one of the premiere technology law blogs in Canada.
